For several years, television actress Zinhle Mabena has kept several ardent watchers of Mzansi Magic’s hit soap opera Isibaya captivated by her fascinating character and enthralling performances on the screen.
Her fans are in for a treat as the actress comes back to the show after a short hiatus to concentrate on her motherhood journey. Zinhle gave birth to her second child, who was born in 2019, and she loved being a mother to her two children.
Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela took Twitter to unleash the news, leaving fans enthralled who said they couldn’t wait to see her drama.
In a tweet, he wrote, “Zinhle Mabena returns to Isibaya. The actress who plays the role of Sihle took a break from production and returns after being out of the screen for over a year. Zinhle Mabena returns to Isibaya on Tuesday at 8:30 p.m.”
Zinhle is known for her devious character, Sihle, who is despised by millions on screen though she is soft-spoken and lovable in real life. Her character has several things to do with her schematic ways on the edge of their mutual seats.
Confirming her return, she said it’s going to be such a lovely journey, “Thank you so much, Phil … I’m so excited for everyone to see what Sihle has in store for me. It’s going to be such a lovely journey,” she tweeted.
Zinhle played Zweli Ngubane ‘s wife, portrayed by Andile Gumbi, who died after suffering a heart attack while working in Israel.
The actress rose to fame when she took on the role of Busi Thwala in SABC’s Mtunzini.com drama series and has since played several roles on our television screens.
Zinhle is in love with Robert Ngwenya, head over heels, and the lovebirds have two twins. The actress recently disclosed that her husband had almost died after his car had been torched by the perpetrators while inside.
We can’t wait to see her on our screens soon.
