Shylow Muzamani aka Shirati Drumz is an artist from Bulawayo Zimbabwe. He started singing in the year 2010. His first album was Trykun’s Marabela ft, then he dropped a hit album named Zolo in 2015 that went viral.
He managed to tell us in an interview with him how his journey is so far, and the difficulties he faces. He said the trip was successful because he loves music so much.
He also said: “Although I have ups and downs, the road is good. I won the Intwasa 2016 festival, mastered at the first Ibumba, I was nominated for the Bulawayo Arts Awards in 2017 category (best house outstanding) while I didn’t take the prize, but I was pleased because it wasn’t an easy thing to nominate.”
Challenges are now attracting management, sponsors for the shows, “he said.
He said he has released more than 50 tracks and is currently working on an EP named Dance After Rona to be released before August.
” I have over 50 tracks that I can’t even count all of them, have one album called Talking Drum for Africa, then I made three albums for Mabex my compliance working together at Rise Up Studio.
Because he’s been in the music business for so long now he’s inspiring all young artists who want not to give up and have talent and determination to make it to the business.
Words of encouragement To musicians: “I would like to advise all uprising musicians out there not to give up music is a long journey. Patience pays because in that long journey, too, only God knows when I’m going to get to my destination so stay strong and never give up.”
