Justin Bieber launched a brand new song on Thursday night entitled Lonely, featuring Benny Blanco.
He placed the music video of the new track on his YouTube channel as well, featuring actor Jacob Tremblay, 14, portraying a younger version of the 26-year-old singer.
Bieber also took Twitter on Thursday night, and it’s especially difficult for him to listen to the song.
The video starts with Tremblay as the younger Bieber sitting alone in a large room, when someone comes and moves towards him.
Young Bieber then stands up and grabs a hockey stick next to him, sticks his hands on the tennis ball as he walks before he passes it and puts the stick down.
He steps out of the room and onto the stairs, as Bieber sings, ‘Because I’ve got it all/But nobody listens/And that’s so f***ing lonely.’
As the young Bieber walks to the stage, he sings, ‘Everybody knows my past now/Like a house made of glass/And maybe that’s the price you pay for the money and fame at an early age.’
While Tremblay’s young Biber is seen getting ready to perform, the adult Bieber addressed those saw him ‘sick’ and he felt like ‘no one gave a s**t* while criticizing everything I did as an idiot kid.’
As the young Bieber walks out onto the stage in front of an empty arena, the adult Bieber sings, ‘What if you’d had it all but nobody to call maybe then you’d know m
Tremblay then starts singing the chorus in front of an empty auditorium, as the camera pulls back through the empty rows.
As the camera moves backwards up the aisles, one person is seen sitting on an aisle seat, as the camera moves on and shows the adult Justin sitting and watching.
The description of the YouTube video, directed by Jake Schrieber, also includes a message to those who might be feeling lonely.
