DreamDoll oozes confidence in her latest track “Different Freestyle.” The song dropped accompanied with a new music video, which opens up with Dream showing off her closet and all her designer goods as she gets right into two minutes of straight bars:
It’s Dream lil bitch, I know you mad as hell. Drip going brazy Louis jacket and the bag Chanel,/ Amazon pussy I ain’t fucking with no average male. Dream’s still getting no chips like the bag is stale. N***as I’ma never fuck asking if my ass is real. Pussy game different as fuck and he ain’t trip on you once.
Real nasty when I fuck him I’m on demon time. Brand new Urus let him eat while my seat recline. Couple rich n***as there’s a few I had to leave behind.
In terms of recent collabs, the Bronx artist connected with Yung Pooda for “Chicken N Grits” and also with Aaria for the “Thug Love (Remix).” Her last full length project was 2019’s Life In Plastic 2, which included features from Lil Kim, David Lee, cupcaKe, and LouGotCash. Last year saw the release of a few collaborative singles from her like “It’s A Vibe” with Saucy Santana and LightSkinKeisha, “Watchu Like” with Rah Swish, “Ah Ah Ah” with Fivio Foreign, and her own single “On Ya Head.”
In an interview with REVOLT from earlier this year, Dreamdoll shared some insight about how she gets over writer’s block as an artist:
I don’t overthink. I don’t have a notebook filled with songs. I go into my notes [application] and I work off the top of my head. As an artist, I will say I worked on learning how to create metaphors, learning how to switch up my flow and work on my tone. I feel like practicing, trying and consistently recording will allow someone to get better at their craft.
