Cardi B defended her ex-husband, Offset, from fans after filing for divorce from Migos rapper last month.
On Thursday, the rapper replied to a follower who said that her fans didn’t like Offset in a tweet that had been removed, where she wrote, “I don’t give a f*** if you don’t like him. I don’t talk to him but you not going to disrespect my child’s father.”
“If he die, go broke, you not the one that’s going to raise my kid and you’re not the one who pays for her s**t,” the 27-year-old wrote.
In a different tweet that was also removed by the musician, she responded to another fan who called Offset an “evil guy.”
Cardi ‘s defense of her husband came after she filed for divorce on 15 September after three years of marriage, citing her engagement as “unreplaceablely fractured.”
After the divorce file, Cardi told the fans that she was fine and that she had “not lost a single tear.”
“I was tired of not seeing things eye-to-eye,” she said during Instagram Live in September. “If you feel like it isn’t the same anymore before you get cheated on, I’m just quitting … You know what I’m asking you? Like, I’m tired of crowds, too.
Despite defending her former boyfriend, Cardi made it clear that she was no longer with the Instagram photo Offset that she posted with the lyrics: “Single, poor and rich. I’m doing the managing.
