Busiswa – SBWL feat. Kamo Mphela (Official Music Video). Fresh from a brilliant success on Black is King, Queen of Dance Busiswa holds her tongue wagging as she launches her latest hit track SBWL, a slow summer inducing collaboration with fellow dancer Kamo Mphela.
That’s not it, as the singer also unveils a new distribution contract with the leading global distribution and artist and label services company The Orchard.
In a vibrant festive collage music video, the dance track created by DJ Clap titled SBWL – a term deriving from a phrase commonly used on social media to describe a “craving” – shows the two dance phenomena voicing their cravings for amapiano music, chesa nyama and staying out until late. For the past five months, these things human beings have been deprived of.
Said Busiswa: “SBWL is a local township lingo made famous by South Africans on social media. This kind of album, this kind of collaboration between two dance queens at this time is necessary and significant because there’s a notion out there that females don’t want to collaborate with each other so I’m excited to release this with Kamo.
This will mark Busiswa’s first piece of work under her own label Majesty Music Entertainment which will be distributed by global distribution company The Orchard, which Busiswa declares “is a project about me. The project I ‘m working on will feature a lot of prolific producers like DJ Maphorisa, Kabza da Tiny, Mas Musiq, Dj Clap, Pex Africah, Dunnie ‘s name Female Nigerian Producer-its beautiful sound.
With the official music video showing onBusiswaVevo and Majesty Music Entertainment channels, SBWL is available on all Deezer, Spotify, iTunes, and more digital platforms as of Friday, September 4.
